How can I save money on a heating system?

Do you replace parts?

Yes, When our technician examines and identifies your furnace problem if a part should be replaced, the technician will explain the type of required repair and what part need to be replaced.

When should my unit be repaired or

It is generally more cost effective to repair your existing furnace unit than to replace it. But if the heat exchanger or other expensive control module requires replacement, you should consider replacing the whole unit specially if your furnace unit is more than 15 to 20 years old. Regularly servicing your system will save money in the long run.

Can I troubleshoot my system before I call in for a repair?

1- Check disconnected switches (only if you familiar with your system).
2- Make sure that circuit breakers are on or that fuses have not blown.

No, the hot water is heated directly by the coil in the boiler.

Can a leak in a hot water heater be patched, or does the entire unit need to be replaced?

If a hot water heater has a leak it cannot be patched, and it will need to be replaced.
